Nice couple of hours this afternoon on 7m Xbow. Tried the 45 cm Cabrina bar that came with the kite instead of my trusty 50cm slingshot one and it did exactly what I had feared and released the chicken loop accidently when recovering from a tumble in a big mushy wave that grabbed the board and resulted in a rinse-spin cycle. Never used my other Cabrina bar (50cm) from the 9/12m Xbows because it always looked a bit easy to release accidently. At least my assessment of the design turned out to be correct but perhaps a drill, pin and and velcro might make it better....
